Greetings, fellow enthusiasts! I’m reaching out to seek some guidance on a Zigbee configuration issue I’ve encountered. I recently set up a Linear Husbzb-1 stick, successfully migrating my Z-Wave Gen5 info using the ‘shift’ technique. However, I’m facing some challenges with the Zigbee setup that I hope the community can help me resolve.
After installing the Zigbee binding and adding an Ember EM35x controller, I configured the port and baud rate as instructed. The controller shows a nice green checkmark in Habmin, indicating it’s online. I managed to link two bulbs—a GE Link bulb and an Osram A19 RGB bulb—but they appear as unknown devices. Despite this, they show as online with their channel info, which is a good sign.
The issue arises when I attempt to control these lights via the sitemap. I’ve defined them in my items file with the appropriate channels, but no matter the configuration, they don’t respond. Even after deleting the devices and restarting the process, the bulbs aren’t detected during a new search. They remain linked, and turning them off and on doesn’t change their status. This is perplexing, as the bulbs were working before the migration.
I’ve enabled debugging and reviewed the logs, which reveal a series of commands and responses, but I’m not well-versed enough to interpret them fully. It seems the controller is sending and receiving messages, but the bulbs aren’t responding as expected. I’m wondering if there’s a specific configuration step I’ve overlooked or if there’s a known issue with these particular bulbs and the Ember controller.
Has anyone else encountered similar problems? Any suggestions on troubleshooting steps I can take? Should I consider resetting the controller or the bulbs? I’m eager to get this working smoothly and would greatly appreciate any insights or advice the community can offer. Thanks in advance for your help!
