Zigbee Connectivity Issues After Power Outage

Hi everyone, I’m reaching out to share my experience and hopefully get some insights or solutions. I’ve been working on setting up a Zigbee network in my home using a Conbee II USB dongle with Home Assistant on a Raspberry Pi 3. Initially, everything was running smoothly, but recently, after a power outage, I’ve encountered some puzzling connectivity issues.

The problem started when most of my Zigbee devices, particularly my Ikea bulbs and some Xiaomi sensors, went offline and haven’t reconnected since. I’ve tried the usual troubleshooting steps: rebooting the system, restoring a backup configuration, changing the Zigbee and Wi-Fi channels, and rescanning for devices. Despite all these efforts, the issue persists. Strangely, two of my Osram bulbs and a couple of Xiaomi sensors remain consistently connected, while the others are hit or miss.

What’s even more intriguing is that yesterday, two of my Ikea lights spontaneously reconnected without any intervention on my part. This inconsistency is frustrating and has me questioning the stability of my setup. I’m curious if anyone else has experienced similar behavior after a power cut and how they managed to resolve it.

I’m considering starting fresh with a clean configuration to rule out any lingering issues from my previous setup. However, I’m hesitant to lose all my current configurations, especially since some devices are still working. If anyone has tips on how to cleanly reset the Zigbee network without losing too much progress, I’d greatly appreciate it.

This situation is making me rethink my approach to Zigbee. While I’ve heard many success stories, my experience has been quite the opposite. I’m hopeful that with the right adjustments, I can get my network back to reliable performance. Any advice or shared experiences would be invaluable!

Thanks in advance for your help and insights!
