Hi everyone, I wanted to share my recent experience migrating from a C8 to a C8 Pro. Overall, the process was smooth, especially with the detailed documentation provided. However, I encountered a few issues with some of my Zigbee devices that I thought might be worth discussing here.
One of my Sonoff ZB Mini L2s, which worked perfectly before the migration, has become less reliable. It often misses commands from my automations, though it still functions manually. I’ve tried resetting the device and re-pairing it, but the problem persists. I’m curious if anyone else has faced similar issues or has any troubleshooting tips.
Additionally, I have a Moes no-neutral 2-button light switch that was working fine until I tried to connect it to Hue. After pairing it back to my Home Assistant, it only works for about 5 seconds before becoming unresponsive. I’ve followed previous advice on re-pairing and clearing states, but nothing seems to help. I’m worried this might be a recurring issue, especially since this switch is one of the most used in my home.
I’ve been searching for alternatives to the ZB Mini L2 and no-neutral Zigbee switches that would ideally work with Hue or continue to function seamlessly with my Home Assistant setup. If anyone has recommendations or has successfully resolved similar issues, I’d love to hear about your experiences!
