I’ve been diving into expanding my Zigbee network to cover my entire home, especially for devices like my SONOFF SNZB-04 door sensor near the driveway. Distance has always been a challenge, but I found a great solution with the AEOTEC Zigbee Range Extender! 
After setting it up, I noticed the extender acts as a perfect bridge between my far-off devices and the main hub. However, I faced an issue where the extender wasn’t showing connections on the ZHA network map. Turns out, placing it in an outdoor outlet wasn’t ideal due to weather and power usage. Here’s what I did to fix it:1. Moved the extender indoors near the main hub2. Used the SILVERCREST® outdoor Zigbee outlet for the driveway sensor3. Reset both devices and re-added them to the networkNow, everything connects smoothly without any gaps!
