Zigbee Sensor Data Update Issues

Hey everyone, I’ve been diving into the world of Zigbee devices lately and I must say, it’s been quite an adventure! I recently integrated two Aqara humidity sensors into my setup, hoping to monitor the environment in my basement more effectively. However, I’ve encountered a bit of a snag that I’m hoping the community can help me with.

The issue is that these sensors only update their data when I restart my system. To put it simply, they don’t provide real-time updates as I’d expect. I’ve tried everything from changing the batteries to ensuring the firmware is up to date, but nothing seems to resolve the problem. It’s a bit frustrating because I was really looking forward to having those sensors provide continuous, minute-by-minute updates on temperature and humidity.

One of the sensors is positioned right next to my Sonoff ZBDongle-E, so I know it’s within range. I’ve also checked the logs, but they don’t seem to indicate any issues with the connection. I’m using Zigbee2MQTT version 1.39.1-1, and Mosquitto broker logs show regular connections, but no data flow beyond the initial setup.

I’m curious if anyone else has experienced similar issues or if there’s a known fix for this. Maybe there’s a configuration tweak I’m missing or a setting that needs adjusting on the sensors themselves. Any insights or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

On a lighter note, despite the hiccup, I’m still excited about the potential of Zigbee devices. Their ability to work seamlessly with my existing setup is impressive, and I can’t wait to troubleshoot this and get everything running smoothly. Thanks in advance for your help!
