Zigbee Switch Button Mapping Solution Found

After spending hours trying to figure out why my Zigbee switch wasn’t working as expected, I thought I’d share my experience in case others are facing the same issue. I recently purchased a 4-button Zigbee switch from Tuya (TS0004F) and was excited to integrate it into my smart home setup. However, the button mappings didn’t make sense at first glance. The GUI suggested options like ‘Turn On’, ‘Turn Off’, ‘Dim Up’, etc., but my physical buttons didn’t align with these descriptions.

After some trial and error, I realized that the buttons were mapped differently. Here’s what I discovered:

  • Button 1: ‘Turn On’
  • Button 2: ‘Turn Off’
  • Button 3: ‘Dim Up’
  • Button 4: ‘Dim Down’

It turns out that the integration wasn’t as straightforward as I hoped, but with some patience, I was able to get everything working. I updated my automation rules accordingly and now the switch operates seamlessly with my lights. If anyone else is struggling with button mappings, I recommend testing each button individually and noting the responses in the logs. It might take a bit of time, but it’s definitely doable! :rocket:
