Hey all! I’ve been diving into the world of Zigbee devices lately, and I wanted to share my experiences and some tips that might help others. 
I’ve been trying to find a reliable Zigbee water timer solution for my sprinkler system. I came across the Orbit Iris Zigbee unit, but it’s quite rare and only available second-hand. After some research, I stumbled upon this Frankever Remote Control Faucet Timer on Amazon. It seems promising, but I’m not entirely sure how it integrates with my Hubitat setup. Has anyone had experience with this device? I’m curious if generic drivers can be used or if there’s a specific configuration needed. 
While exploring automation ideas, I’ve also been playing with outdoor motion sensors. I installed a Hue Outdoor sensor, which is fantastic, but I wanted to get more out of it. I’ve set it up to trigger Wyze Cam recordings and enhance IR night vision by briefly turning on garden lights. The challenge was avoiding false triggers from neighbors. I ended up creating a rule where the lights only activate if motion persists for more than 30 seconds. It’s not perfect, but it’s a start! 
Another thing I’ve been experimenting with is seasonal lighting modes. I’d love to have a selector switch for different times of the year—winter, spring, summer, fall. Each mode would adjust lighting schedules and temperatures accordingly. I’m looking into state machines and virtual switches, but I’m not entirely sure how to tie everything together. Any suggestions would be awesome! 
Lastly, I’ve been impressed by how much you can do with a simple outdoor motion sensor. From enhancing security to automating lighting, the possibilities are endless. I’d love to hear how others are leveraging their sensors for creative solutions. Let’s keep the ideas flowing!
