Hello everyone, I’ve been using Home Assistant for just over two weeks now and I’m really enjoying the transition from my previous setup with IOBroker. The ecosystem and community support have been fantastic, and I’ve managed to integrate all my Zigbee devices without any major issues initially. However, I’ve encountered a recurring problem with the Zigbee2MQTT add-on that I’m hoping someone can help me troubleshoot.
After setting up my devices and creating some basic automations, everything worked smoothly for a short period. Unfortunately, I noticed that the automations stopped functioning, and upon checking the add-on status in the Home Assistant app, I found that Zigbee2MQTT had stopped running. Restarting it resolved the issue temporarily, but this problem has now become frequent.
My setup includes a Raspberry Pi 4 with the official power supply and a Sonoff Zigbee Dongle (E-version). I’ve reviewed the logs, but as a relatively new user, I’m struggling to identify the root cause. The logs show entries indicating the add-on has restarted, but there’s no clear error message explaining why it crashed in the first place. I’m curious if anyone else has experienced similar issues and if there are specific log entries or system configurations I should be looking at to diagnose this further.
I’d greatly appreciate any advice or suggestions on how to stabilize the Zigbee2MQTT add-on. Whether it’s a hardware-related issue, a configuration tweak, or a potential bug in the add-on itself, I’m eager to explore all possible solutions to ensure my smart home setup runs smoothly. Thanks in advance for your help and insights!
