Hey everyone, I’ve been using several Zooz ZSE40 4-in-1 sensors with my Vera3 system, and they’ve been performing well overall. However, I’ve noticed a peculiar behavior with one of them that I can’t quite figure out. I’d love to hear if anyone else has encountered this or has any insights.
So, the issue is this: while reviewing the motion history, I can see that there hasn’t been any motion detected for a considerable period. However, this particular sensor still displays the small red motion indicator on its tile. It’s not causing any functional issues, but it’s definitely odd. I’ve checked the API Browser+ and it seems the sensor reported an ‘Active’ status a day ago but never followed up with an ‘Inactive’ status. That’s strange!
I’ve tried resetting the sensor and even re-pairing it, but the issue persists. The other sensors in my setup are working perfectly fine, so it’s isolated to this one. I wonder if it’s a firmware glitch or perhaps a configuration issue I’m overlooking.
If anyone has any ideas or similar experiences, I’d really appreciate the help. Maybe there’s a workaround or a setting I haven’t considered yet. Thanks in advance for your thoughts!
