Zooz ZSE70 Mounting Challenges and Solutions

I’ve been diving into the world of smart home devices lately, and while most of my experiences have been smooth, I’ve hit a bit of a snag with my Zooz ZSE70 sensors. I’ve been using Zooz products for a while now, and they’ve generally been reliable, but these ZSE70s have given me a bit of a headache when it comes to mounting. Every time I install one, the clips seem to pop out because the housing is just so tight. It’s frustrating, but I’ve got to give Zooz credit for their customer service—they’ve been quick to send replacements whenever I’ve needed them.

I’ve now had to request a replacement five times, which is getting a bit old. It really feels like a design flaw that needs some attention. Maybe a bit more reinforcement or a different material could solve the issue. I’ve even considered trying to create a makeshift bracket myself using some metal, just to get these sensors up and running without the constant hassle.

If anyone out there has found a clever workaround or a better mounting solution, I’d love to hear about it! Let’s brainstorm together and see if we can come up with a more durable setup for these sensors. Happy to share any tips I find along the way—let’s keep the conversation going!
