1 Sensor in Aqara, 2 sensors in HomeKit

I’ve added 3 door sensors to my smart home. after a bit of fiddling I got them all connected, however while there is only 1 of each sensor in the Aqara App, each sensor appears twice in HomeKit. Has anyone else seen this? Any ideas how to resolve it? They are using my Aqara G5 Pro (WiFi) as the hub.

If your G5 is connected both via HK and via matter in Homekit, you will have duplicate sensors, this is the case for everyone and this is normal because you are using two connections for one device, both via HK and via matter.

Thanks for the info. So if I disconnected the G5 from Matter in HK, would I still be able to see my sensors?

Yes, the sensors will be visible if the camera is connected via HK.

Hey @Raman.V thank you so much for the advice. I disabled Matter on the G5, rebooted etc and now just have 1 set of sensors. I’ve also just ordered another 3 sensors for the rest of my house.
