Hey everyone!
I wanted to share a fun experiment I did recently with my Govee smart thermometer and humidity sensor. It all started when I decided to take a relaxing bath and noticed something interesting about the temperature and humidity in the bathroom. I thought it would be a great opportunity to test out my Govee device and see how it performs in real-life scenarios. ![]()

The Setup
I placed the Govee smart thermometer in the bathroom and started tracking the temperature and humidity levels. Initially, the temperature was around 70.9°F and the humidity was at 38.9%. I decided to crank up the shower to its maximum temperature and pressure to see how it would affect the environment. ![]()

The Results
As the warm water started running, I noticed a significant increase in both temperature and humidity. The humidity spiked to 97.5%, and the temperature rose to a cozy 79.3°F! It was fascinating to see how quickly the environment changed. The Govee device captured these changes in real-time, and I couldn’t help but laugh at how precise it was. ![]()
However, things took an unexpected turn when my cat, Darlin, burst into the bathroom, causing a sudden drop in temperature and humidity. The Govee device even recorded the exact moment the thermometer fell off the conditioner bottle! ![]()

What I Learned
This experiment taught me a lot about how humidity and temperature interact in a small, enclosed space like a bathroom. It also highlighted the reliability of the Govee smart thermometer in capturing these changes accurately. I was impressed by how easy it was to set up and how intuitive the app was to use. ![]()
