I’ve been diving into the world of smart home automation with Hubitat over the past few weeks, and I must say, it’s been an incredibly rewarding experience! 
I started my journey by migrating from Vera, and while there were a few bumps along the way, Hubitat’s user-friendly interface and robust features have truly exceeded my expectations.One of the most exciting aspects of this transition has been the ability to integrate a variety of devices from different brands under one roof. I’ve successfully included Z-Wave devices like my Fibaro switches and Aqara sensors, and the process has been much smoother than I anticipated. The inclusion and exclusion process, while not perfect, has given me confidence in the stability of my setup.I’ve also been experimenting with automations, and it’s amazing how a simple rule can transform daily routines. For instance, I’ve set up a system where my bathroom fan turns on automatically when the door opens and the lights are off. It’s these small touches that make home automation feel truly magical.One thing I’d love to see more of is feedback during the configuration process. A little confirmation that a device has been successfully excluded or a poll has been completed would go a long way in making the experience even more seamless. But overall, I’m thrilled with how far I’ve come in such a short time!If anyone has tips for optimizing device parameters or suggestions for troubleshooting common issues, I’d love to hear them.
