I’ve recently embarked on a journey to integrate various smart devices into my home, and I must say, it’s been an enlightening experience! 
Starting with a few Shelly 25 devices for rollershade automation, I quickly realized the potential of smart home tech. However, it wasn’t all smooth sailing—dealing with schedules that seemed to have a life of their own was quite the puzzle. After some troubleshooting, I found that a factory reset and careful reconfiguration were key to resolving those quirks. 
Moving on, I decided to upgrade my outdoor security with an ADC camera. The installation process involved some clever cable management and a POE switch, which I’m happy to say worked out perfectly without any hiccups. The camera’s independent IP address and seamless integration into my existing system were a breath of fresh air. 
For the living room, I stumbled upon Intu blinds, which are a breeze to install and look sleek. Automating them was a challenge, but with some research and a bit of tinkering, I managed to connect them to my SmartThings setup. It’s amazing how such a small change can make a big difference in daily convenience. 
One feature I’ve been longing for is a centralized hub that can manage both Bluetooth and Wi-Fi devices. While I haven’t found the perfect solution yet, the idea of a universal hub that simplifies control for multiple users is incredibly appealing. It would eliminate the need for multiple apps and accounts, streamlining the smart home experience. 
Throughout this journey, I’ve encountered both triumphs and trials, but each challenge has been an opportunity to learn and grow. The support from this community has been invaluable, and I’m excited to continue exploring the endless possibilities of smart home automation.
