Adapted Door Apt Dwellers

Well we have smart switches, plugs, and other unit devices. How about a smart dial, one can simply put a item over a knob program the force needed and how many clicks to tkae to complete a task simple as to turn clockwise or counter clockwise, a simle rotating knob dial that fits into, onto,or over. Over what one may say? Well how about a 2 dial turn to turn on OG crock pot from High to warm. Got a espresso machine, need to turn knob clockwise after water is boiled so exprsso shot can be poured and after x amount of seconds or minutes the dial would turn back as to stop expresso drip. No need to buy a new $1000 machine, no need to Raspberry Pi a perfectly working machine, just adapt to your needs. Have a regular thumb button handle door handle. The handle is a circle on top is a little rotating thumb switch to lock and unlock door, just pop on the thumb door bot. Fits on top of inside door handle , internal rotating counterclockwise to unlock or clockwise to rotate that thumb switch to lock. No need to ask landlord if one can change door locks, not having to buy a whole unit, when one can be retrofitted for the renters ease, while keeping original hardware no one can tell from other side of door its a smart retrofit. Maybe even have a 2nd feature of when the deadbolt locks or unlocks using proximity sensor on deadbolt then tells door handle/knob to lock or unlock
