Hey everyone! I wanted to share some exciting updates and tips from my recent smart home projects. First off, I’ve been absolutely loving the adaptive TV lighting setup I’ve been experimenting with. It’s been a game-changer for creating the perfect viewing environment, especially in the evenings. The lights automatically adjust based on the content on the screen, which is both convenient and visually stunning. I’ve paired this with some motion sensors to ensure the lights dim or turn off when no one’s in the room, saving energy without compromising on comfort. 
Another project I’ve been working on is integrating a secondary sensor with my webcam setup. I’ve been using Home Assistant to manage my cameras, and I stumbled upon a neat way to make the camera’s active/inactive status dynamic. By linking it to an MQTT topic, I can now control the camera’s state based on motion detected by another sensor. This has been super useful for security purposes—when motion is detected, the camera becomes active, and I get a notification. It’s a simple yet effective setup that adds another layer of smart security to my home.
