I currently have an aqara Hub M3 installed with an aqura u100 door lock and also a matter motion light sensor.
When I attempt to add a new (matter) window door sensor it fails at connecting and says ensure my M3/Router supports IPv6. My wifi router has IPv6 enabled. When I attempt to add an existing matter window door sensor from Alexa or Google home via PIN sharing; it completely times out at the Connecting Stage.
This is very frustrating. Please assist. Thank you.
@smcalli1013 I’m sorry to hear about the trouble you’re experiencing with connecting your Aqara Matter window door sensor. Here are a few steps that might help resolve your issue:
Ensure Firmware Updates: Make sure that your Aqara Hub M3 and the app are updated to their latest versions. This can often resolve compatibility issues.
Network Connection: Confirm that both your Aqara Hub and phone are connected to the same local network. This is crucial for seamless integration.
IPv6 Support: Although your router has IPv6 enabled, try toggling it off and back on again. This might help refresh the connection.
Reboot and Reconnect: Restart your Aqara Hub, reinstall the battery for the window door sensor, and attempt the connection process again.
Create a New Network: If the above steps don’t work, try creating a new thread network for the Hub M3 and then bind the sensor again.
If none of these steps resolve the issue, please consider reaching out to the Customer Service Team via the Aqara Home App (Profile > Help & Feedback > Customer Service) for more efficient support.
