To add devices to HA using the HK code, go to Settings → Settings and Services → Devices → Add Devices → Apple → Add HomeKit Device

As @Raman.V already mentioned, you can use the “HomeKit Device” integration to connect accessories from Apple Home (HomeKit) to Home Assistant.
In my setup, the menu path is:
Settings → Devices & services → Integrations → Add integration → Apple → HomeKit Device
You can also add it using the “Add integration to my HA” button on the official Home Assistant page:
To make your Home Assistant entities available in Apple HomeKit, use the “HomeKit Bridge” integration:
