After spending nearly four years exploring and learning from this amazing community, I decided to give back by creating an Edge Driver for the Aeotec Home Energy Monitor Gen 5. My journey began when I installed solar panels and an ASHP, only to find that the stock Edge Driver wasn’t up to the task. I thought, why not try creating my own? It was a challenging but rewarding experience!
The Edge Driver I developed is now available on my channel, and I’ve shared the source code on GitHub for anyone interested in contributing. It’s been a great way to manage power usage in my home, and I hope it can help others too.
