Hey everyone, I’m reaching out for some advice regarding my Alexa setup. I recently set up another Alexa Show device on my aunt’s Amazon account, who lives in assisted living. However, I’m encountering an issue where when I try to drop in, it only connects to the newer device in her back room, even though I want to reach the original one in her front room.
I’ve tried a few things, like checking the Alexa app to see if there’s a way to manually select the device, but I haven’t found a straightforward solution yet. I’m wondering if there’s a setting or a trick to specify which device I want to connect to when using the drop-in feature.
If anyone has experienced something similar or knows how to adjust the settings to prioritize a specific device, I’d greatly appreciate the help! I want to make sure my aunt feels connected and can easily communicate, especially since she’s in a new environment.
