Anyone use Aqara Hub with non Aqara Devices?

I am thinking about using a M3 hub to use as a matter controller for some Leviton smart switches at our church in order to make them work on a schedule offline. Does anyone have experience doing this?

@brianjharvey91 It’s great to hear you’re exploring using the Aqara Hub M3 as a Matter controller for Leviton smart switches! The Hub M3 supports Matter, which means it can integrate with Matter-compatible devices like Leviton switches when acting as a Matter controller.

For offline scheduling, here’s what to note: If you have only one Hub M3, automations configured within it won’t execute if the hub itself goes offline. However, when the hub is powered and connected to the local network (even with the external network down), Edge automations (like schedules) should still work, as the Hub M3 is designed to handle local automations efficiently.

Have you confirmed if your Leviton switches are Matter-certified? That would help ensure smoother integration. If you decide to try this setup, sharing your experience here would be awesome—other community members might find it really helpful
