I’ve had an Aqara U200 lite since yesterday. I can’t set the retraction time in the app. The option is completely missing, at least on Android. Will this issue be fixed soon? As it is, the lock is unusable for my purposes. The latest firmware is installed.

Are you talking about the Aqara or Home Assistant App?

Sorry, I posted in the wrong thread. I meant the Aqara app. Such detailed settings aren’t possible in Home Assistant.
Aqara support told me that there’s supposedly no demand for this feature. Therefore, they decided not to offer it on the U200 Lite. (Even though it’s shown in the screenshots. 
)

I have exactly the same problem. Home Assistant on Raspi 5 with ZBT-1 as OpenThread Border Router. The Extra-Button for the Latch is missing.
I would also love to have access to a full protocol in home assistant: which user has locked/unlocked the door when and how (fingerprint, NFC, Code, …)

How did you add the lock to HA?
I added it first to the Apple Home App and then to HA.
I‘d also love full API Access

I initially added it to an Echo 4 to test it, as I didn’t have any other Thread border router at the time. But I removed it there and then added it to Home Assistant as soon as I’ve got a ZBT-1 USB stick, which now serves as an OpenThread border router for HA.

@idoodler I added it first to to Home Assistant via Matter and then to HomeKit.
After I added it to HomeKit I saw that Home Assistant also discovered it via the HomeKit integration but I did not add it a second time.
BTW I am using the Sonoff ZBDongle-E with the Thread-only firmware.

In the meantime I changed my setup:
I removed all my Matter devices from Home Assistant.
Added an Aqara M100 hub.
Then joined the Apple Thread network with the M100 and the Home Assistant Thread Open Border Router.
Added all Aqara Matter devices to the M100 / Aqara app and used the pairing code to add them to Home Assistant’s Matter integration again.
The “Open Door”-button is still there in Home Assistant.

So, Aqara, please fix this bug asap. Home Assistant is the most popular smart home ecosystem, at least in Europe. Matter integration is useless without an extra button for the latch.

The whole idea behind Matter is that you finally no longer have to buy an additional hub for each manufacturer whose smart home components you want to integrate. Matter is intended to be the standard that finally works across manufacturers and wireless standards. In this respect, it is not a solution if you now need a hub from Aqara for Aqara Matter components and then one from X, one from Y, and one from Z in order to use their components. Each additional hub costs more money and, above all, means additional power consumption and thus additional operating costs.

But also adds redundancy. I added the M100 because it’s one of the cheapest Thread border routers.
So if my Raspberry Pi 5 running Home Assistant is broken I can still control my Thread devices with HomeKit or the Aqara app via the M100.

This was nearly 3 weeks ago. When will we get a fix? The Matter integration is useless, when the lock is in fact not usable with Matter.
I would buy 2 U200 more for my other doors, but only if this bug is fixed.
I installed beta firmware 084 (beta firmware must be activated under “Profile”). Now I see a new button for the latch in Home Assistant. It was not necessary to remove and pair the lock again. As soon as the new beta firmware was installed, the extra button was there.

with that beta version installed it works as i wanted to have it.
Lock, unlock and a button for open
