Hi Aqara Team,
I use my Aqara devices to make my house look lived in when I’m away – for example by switching lights on and off at certain times.
It would be super helpful if, instead of a fixed pause between switching on and off, we could set a random duration between x and y seconds/minutes.
That little bit of randomness makes the automation feel less like a robot on a timer and more like a human with an inconsistent bedtime.
From a technical perspective, this shouldn’t be rocket science – and it would make the “home simulation” feature much more convincing. Maybe you could sneak this into a future app update?
