Hi, I’ve got an issue with my devices connected to apple home, for example my door sensor status is not updating, until I open aqara app, is there any way to fix it?

What kind of sensor is this, how is it added to Homekit?
Have you tried replacing the battery in the sensor. This may help.

It’s aqara t1 door and window sensor, and it’s brand new so the battery shouldn’t be the problem , I’ve added it to aqara app and it automatically showed up in apple home

When version of iOS are you running? I don’t see it that often anymore in the iOS 18.6 Apple Home app, while it was frequent in the iOS 18.5 version. For me opening the Aqara app makes no difference. Home+ 6 App shows it all the time in both versions. It mainly affects zigbee devices as far as I can see, but not sure of that.
