Have you all been following the news lately? The Apple Spring launch is getting closer!
According to the latest update from Tim Cook, Apple will kick off a week of new product announcements starting this Monday, March 2nd. Furthermore, Apple will host “Special Apple Experience” events on March 4th in New York, Shanghai, and London, where media and partners will likely get hands-on time with the new hardware.
Bloomberg also suggests that Apple is gearing up for a big start to 2026, with a lineup likely featuring the new iPhone 17e, along with updated iPads and Macs.
As an Aqara user, I’m always on the lookout for how these updates will shake up our smart homes. We’re curious, what’s everyone hoping to see?
Could a new iPad make for a better dashboard? What do you think the pricing might look like on the 17e… And of course, crossing my fingers for some cool Apple Intelligence features that make our Apple Home + Aqara automations even smoother.
What about you guys? Any wild predictions or a “dream” device you’re hoping for? Let’s chat in the comments!
I am perfectly happy keeping my speakers separate from my screen. I like being able to buy the right speakers and the right screen without compromising on one or the other, and I don’t want to have to replace the screen if the speaker dies or vice-versa. The screen placement isn’t necessarily where I want the speakers, either.
But I do want a new Apple TV.
And a standalone aliro UWB sensor that basically lets me retrofit my U200 with auto door unlock at a price significantly less than the cost of buying a new smart lock
I’m excited to see what they launch. I’ve heard rumors about a doorbell camera and a HomePod/iPad type display device. Curious to see if they launch and if they’ll beat or exceed what’s already available.
You guys expect to much from Apple and being an Apple user for to long and this Apple from the past 3/4/5 years they do not release new devices like what you ask or new things they just tweak what they have and change the chip that’s it ooo and cost more so don’t expect an HomePod with display because that ain’t coming at least not in the next 2/3 years o my be never but if they will release such an devices will be way to expensive
Why do you need an HomePod with display?do to what exactly with it?to control your smart home from it?as for this the iPad is the best solution as the iPad can be moved were you want but the HomePod you can’t take it with you around the house like the iPad as the HomePods need to be plug in.
