Why was it marked as invalid

I’m just taking a guess here, but when you read about other people having faulty sensors after the update, it seems likely that this is probably the cause.

Here’s an example from Robert Coletti:

The P2 motion sensor was likely because it was bricking devices. I’ve got one dead on my desk still after one of those updates.

Did they generally pull the firmware release back?

So, versions 1.0.2.0 and 1.0.3.0 of the P2 motion sensor and 1.0.1.1 and 1.0.2.0 for the P2 door & window sensor have been revoked, and the following statement has been issued to users by support:

Support Response:
“Currently, there is no publicly available firmware newer than the version already released for your device. The firmware you mentioned (1.0.3.0) has not yet been made available to the public through standard update channels and therefore cannot be installed through the standard process at this time.”

I got confirmation, today, that the latest official firmware is 1.0.0.0
