@wouter_rijken Sharing devices between Google Home and Home Assistant can indeed be a bit of a puzzle, but here’s a helpful approach that should get you on the right track:

To integrate Aqara devices with Home Assistant:

  1. Integration via Aqara Hub: Use an Aqara Hub (like the M2 or M1S) to connect your devices. You can then use the HomeKit Controller integration in Home Assistant to discover and manage these devices. This method is user-friendly and works well for most Aqara Zigbee devices. Just ensure that your Aqara Hub and Home Assistant are connected to the same network.

For sharing with Google Home, you can:

  1. Use Matter Protocol: If your hub supports the Matter protocol, you can connect it to Google Home. Add the Matter-compatible Aqara Hub to your Google Home app, and it should automatically discover compatible devices.

Unfortunately, direct sharing between Google Home and Home Assistant isn’t natively supported, but using integrations like these can help bridge the gap. If you have any specific devices in mind or further questions, feel free to share! Let’s keep the conversation going for more tailored advice.
