Aqara APP for Android Auto

I am Interested how many of us would like to see Aqara APP in Android Auto?
I think that would be nice feature addition for us in Android ecosystem

It makes sense for triggering devices and automations for garage door and such - not sure how cameras or sensors stats are useful in the car.

Garage doors surely. Scenes to turn off lights, start/stop heating/cooling, scene to bring shutters up/down etc. Cameras and sensors - probably you wont watch from car, but you can see if you forgot to close windows etc. Basically any time you want to do something in aqara APP while driving should be from android auto (better UX and safer).

Interesting suggestion! Coming from the Apple ecosystem, it makes me wonder: do you actually need a dedicated app for Android Auto?

In Apple CarPlay, there isn’t an official Home app either, but everything can be seamlessly controlled or queried via Siri. If you’ve linked your Aqara devices to Google Home through the third-party integration, shouldn’t you already be able to control them via Google Assistant within Android Auto?

As an alternative, I personally use the Home Assistant app via CarPlay. I assume the app is available for Android Auto as well, though that obviously requires running a Home Assistant instance.

For those who like to tinker: I’ve recently been looking into the Aqara Developer Platform. If you have some experience with APIs and programming, you could potentially build a custom solution yourself.
