I’m curious to see the future of Apple Home. Currently we’ve had our camera disconnect a few times due to Apple Home being 70-80% reliable, but hopefully it will improve when they do update it.

It would be great if they offered a simple way to sync devices between the Apple HomeKit and Aqara app.

I use the Aqara app, the Apple Home app, and Home Assistant with various Aqara cameras and have not experienced any connection problems. What type of camera do you use?

It is possible to sync Aqara with Apple Home, but not the other way around.
Aqara Home app → Profile → Connect to Ecosystems → Apple Home
The only workaround to syncing the devices other way around is to use Matter devices/ecosystems. If you have a Matter enabled hub like the M3, you can add all your Matter devices to Aqara (you will find the Matter pairing code in Apple Home > hold device icon > settings > scroll to “pairing mode” or something like this)
In my experience it is usually the WiFi that is the problem, not Apple Home.
