Aqara D200i Battery Drain With Aqara M3 Hub

Anybody notice a massive battery drain when the Aqara D200i is paired with Aqara M3 Hub? I am quite certain it is due to the latest M3 firmware which I had which is 4.3.6_0029?

I am changing batteries every week instead of every quarter before the update.

@lesterchan It seems like you’re experiencing an unexpected battery drain with your Aqara D200i Lock after pairing it with the Aqara M3 Hub, particularly following the latest firmware update. While there isn’t specific reference information regarding this issue, there are a few general troubleshooting steps that might help:

  1. Firmware Update: First, ensure that both your Aqara M3 Hub and the D200i Lock are updated to their latest firmware versions. Sometimes, subsequent updates can resolve such issues.

  2. Network Settings: Double-check that your router supports IPv6, as this is required for Matter devices. Also, ensure that both devices are connected to the same local network.

  3. Reboot Devices: Try restarting both the hub and the lock, which can sometimes clear up any connectivity or power-related glitches.

  4. Battery Check: Make sure you’re using the recommended battery type and charger for your D200i. Incorrect power input can affect battery performance.

If these steps don’t help, it might be worth discussing this issue with other forum members or reaching out to Aqara Customer Service for further assistance. They might provide more specific insights or updates on this matter.

This seems to be fixed with the latest 4.3.7_0036

EDIT: Looks I said too early, problem still exists

I’m having the same issue. This didn’t happen 2 months ago. I literally changed the battery it drains 100% to 20% within 7 days. This battery would have easily done 4 months. Is this a firmware issue or hub issue?
I’m using the M2 hub

I thought might be hub issue, but when I re-paired it from M3 Hub to M2 hub it didn’t solve the issue. My D200i didn’t have any firmware update whereas both my hubs are on 4.3.7_0036. I still believe it is the hub firmware issue.

After RMA, updated the door lock to the latest version, 3.0.0_0022, paired with the same Hub. It now stays at 100% over 2 days.

Now I am not sure if it is a device or battery issue. Since the firmware version are the same as my faulty door lock.
