Aqara Doorbell G4 vs G410: Upgrading?

Hello there! I have been using the G4 camera in my home, with good results. I haven’t upgraded to the G410 and would be interested in knowing your opinion on whether it would be a cool upgrade for my case.

I currently have the G4 (wireless, with battery) connected to Aqara Hub and synced with Home Assistant (integrated with some automations)

I would mostly be interested in knowing the current state of the G410 specifically if I can get a live feed from the camera directly into the dashboard, and how reliably that would be.

Has anyone regretted the uprade?

I upgraded to 410 since 3 months ago and so far it’s been more reliable and steady. Live feed seems to be more reliable and faster response

Hello friend

I think there is a third option: if you don’t care about using an external power source (non battery) to power the doorbell, Aqara’s just released G400 doorbell is a better option. It has faster response speed and connection stability, and supports IP65 waterproof, HomeKit and Onvif protocols, with higher DIY properties.

Thanks so much! I’ll have a look

Actually I understood incorrectly. Unfortunately I can’t have wired-doorbells in my setup :frowning: so The G400 is not an option for me
