Aqara FP 300 Questions

Hi everyone :wave:

Now that a few of you have had the chance to test the FP 300, I was hoping to get your insights on a couple of things:

  • Can the FP 300 only be fully configured in details if you’re using an Aqara Hub? Or can it be done with any Zigbee hub like Homey Pro?
  • Has anyone tried mounting the sensor on the ceiling, particularly on the sides or corners of a room?

I’m also keen to hear people’s experiences using it with Home Assistant.

I’ve got an FP2 running on it and it’s great!

One thing I’ve found frustrating with the FP2 on Home Assistant is that I’ve not found a way to identify the number of people currently detected in a way that is passed to Home Assistant.

Have you found a way to do that with the FP300?
