I recently installed the Aqara FP2 motion sensors in my apartment, and I’m really impressed with their performance in most rooms. However, my baby’s room has been a bit of a challenge. The sensor doesn’t detect my daughter consistently, which is crucial for automations like turning on a nightlight or playing a lullaby. I’ve tried relying on the existing setup, which includes an Aqara temperature sensor and a Xiaomi Mi Speaker, but the FP2 just doesn’t seem to pick up her presence reliably. I’m looking for recommendations on alternative sensors that could work seamlessly with Home Assistant. Has anyone successfully used a different sensor for similar purposes? I’d love to hear your experiences and suggestions!
