Aqara FP300 Presence Sensor: Expected Release Date & Features

  1. The FP300 is Matter compatible, so not necessarily an Aqara hub.
  2. Yes & yes.
  3. Yes, it offers continuous reporting as shown in the short screen recording.
  4. Yes, you can use this for automation. for example, I use it for controlling my heating in a room where I keep reptiles & tarantulas so the ambient room temperature stays within a certain range.

In addition, I use the light sensor to control a blind, the humidity sensor to control a misting device & the presence sensing to control a light. Not bad when it’s all done through one tiny sensor. you can view this post to see more -

Yes, two CR2450 batteries which should last 2-3 years depending on usage.

I knew it. Logical decicion. FP300 is a FP2 without cable and Zones but with Temperatur and humidity :v::wink:

Do you think Komplett.no in Notway will get it?

2-3 year battery life and Matter support sounds like a real winner, I can’t wait to get my hands a few of these!
