Aqara G4 - weird Sounds after ringing

Hi @aqara,

Can you tell me what’s going on with my doorbell?

After someone rings it, a loud and annoying sound comes directly from the doorbell, and it can’t be turned off.

The sound started suddenly, without me changing anything.

I’m using an M3 Hub and the doorbell in combination with the U200.

The issue has been happening for about three weeks now, as far as I can tell.

I also reinstalled the Door Bell, same prob again.

The doorbell is about a year old.

It would be great if you could help me out. It’s really annoying for everyone who rings the bell.

Good day @jan_stolzenberg , Your G4 makes very strange sounds, I have never encountered anything like this. I think you need to contact aqara support or wait for a comment here from the product manager. Here is the email of aqara technical support. support@aqara.com

Does the G4 doorbell connect with the Alexa app?

If it would have such a noise when it disconnect with Alexa?

Mine has started doing this exact same thing a couple of weeks ago. I originally installed it about 17 months ago and it worked flawlessly up until it started making this noise.

I have the same sound emitting from my Aqara cameras when I view them via Alexa.

My G4 has stated doing similar, different sound, not quite as loud. Been working flawlessly prior to that

I have just checked again and after some app update or Alexa skill update now the Aqara cameras are not emitting sound when viewed from Alexa app on my Android phone.
But the sound is still emitted when I view the cameras on my LG TV via Alexa Cube.
I think the issue may be because I can’t enable or disable the microphone and this is probably some mic feedback on a loop.

Guys, Amazon Alexa has fixed the audio issue, you can test your camera to see if the problem still here.

yes, I can confirm watching the feed of my Aqara cameras on Alexa devices do not make the cameras emit sound anymore.
All is good.
