Aqara G400 doorbell no network when connecting remotely

[quote=“john_clements14, post:1, topic:273910, full:true”]
Help please.
Aqara G400 doorbell works fine all the time I’m home, as soon as I’m outside of the LAN, I have no network detected on the Aqara G400, has been connected on WiFi and today through POE on a 1gbps.
Strangely it connects no problem on Apple HomeKit, at home or remotely.
I have three other Aqara cameras and they all work fine on Aqara or Apple HomeKit at home or remotely, connected to WiFi.

I did hope the POE connection would solve the matter but unfortunately hasn’t.

Thanks JC
PS, I’ve also posted in the developer forum.

Hello @john_clements14
This doesn’t work on a mobile network? What other devices do you have with Aqara Home? Does it continue to work in the app even if you’re away from home? Perhaps you don’t have permission on your phone to use mobile data for Aqara Home.

Hi thanks for the reply.
It seems to have sorted itself out overnight, all working fine now. Much better and quicker then the G4 that I had before.
To answer your question, I have many Aqara devices, including 4 other cameras, all connected to WiFi, and a host of sensors, ie, presence, door and window, and motion, all working fine.
It must have had a funny five minutes.
Thanks again
JC

Had the same issue, but also stabilised now over POE… very odd

Yes very strange indeed. Considering I have a 1gbps connection, which would equate to around 500mbps on WiFi.

Extremely pleased with the G400 now though, its lightning fast, even when the doorbell rings I can beat my wife to answering the door with it.

Hope it stays this good.
