I wanted to raise a topic of frames system for Aqara H2EU switches line that really bothers me lately. I’m an installer (located in Poland, Europe) of the smart home systems and find the H2EU switches as one of the best products in the whole Aqara portfolio. They offer wide range of options that really helps to build many scenarios with them.
Yet there is one thing that I cannot understand and that is lack of few products which makes the whole system incomplete:
- single frame in Grey color way,
- 4-frame in both color way,
- 5-frame in both color way.
My customers always like to have a choice, in some interiors grey switches just look right and I don’t understand why @AqaraOfficial didn’t decide to produce grey single frames when in the same moment we receive optional grey buttons for every single switch we buy.
In terms of 4 and 5 frames it’s really popular in Europe (in Poland as well) to use them while planning the electricity project. I find the missing frames pretty simple to resolve - just adding them to portfolio. Moreover I think that it might significantly increase sales results.
I’m raising that topic as I experienced few situations when my customers didn’t want to decide for the switches mainly because of that reason.
For sure there are some solutions as Gira matt frames which are nearly identical but when you look closer there are actually different and depending on the light exposure it might be more or less visible. Additionally the fit isn’t perfect and they move a little bit inside.
Please let me know if there are more users with the same issue as me. Maybe @AqaraOfficial will hear our voice and expand the offer
