Aqara home application, changes in automation classifications

Hello , @AqaraOfficial
I suggest that Aqara home software developers enter automation information in the old format for conditions used from the Internet (geolocation, weather, temperature …) with the word “Cloud” on a permanent basis. The user may not always know when he writes “Edge” that this is automation that is tied to the Internet. The classification of “Cloud” and “Enge” will allow the user to clearly understand that “Enge” is a purely internal (home) network used by the smart home system. Such a classification allows the user to see for himself the risks (reliability) of using smart automation.

Afterword, at one time I made such a proposal to your specialists, they agreed with me, but unfortunately everything remained as it is.

After discussion, I propose to introduce an additional classification “Enge-Cloud”

Hi @gafich10 , I think this was discussed a long time ago and now it is implemented.
The display is identical to your requests and has already been implemented in the application in automation 2.0

If more than two gateways are used in a smart home and the M3 gateway is also present, the information “Edge” appears. This message may be Local+Cloud, I suggest, if at least one cloud condition, to write clearly “Cloud”

I use 2- m3, I have a total of 11 gateways and no problem with it. Either Local or Cloud
iOS

  1. Gateway M2+M3 (no cloudy conditions), Enge.
  2. Gateway M2+M3 (cloudy conditions, weather in the region), Enge.
  3. Only one gateway M3 (no cloudy conditions), local.

edge only if there are many conditions from different devices on different hubs

Agreed, but the user should clearly know that it is cloud.
Maybe it should be labeled Enge-Cloud
