Aqara Hub G5 Pro - car detection

Hello

I need some clarification about car detection in automations. I have a group „my car” containing 15 photos of my car with different angles and lightning. I also have an automation „when my car is detected and garage door is closed , open garage door”. When creating a trigger „my car is detected”, the UI allows me to select each photo separately from the „my car” group, and this is my question: do I have to add each photo separately when creating such an automation for best recognition of my car in various conditions, or does this system work in such way that if I create a single trigger „when my car is detected „, the system checks the entire „my car” group and if it recognizes my car, it opens garage door?

Hello, I would enter all your photos of the car into the WHEN condition, then the automation will work accurately and faster. This section (WHEN) has no row restrictions. I did this with a photo of my wife and a photo of myself. Different angles and clothes. Everything works great for me.

These are my current settings, but if I want to expand to more cars and other automations, it becomes very time-consuming to configure because when selecting, a list appears with each item listed as “my car.” After selecting one and adding another row, the previously selected item isn’t removed from the list. It’s not a major issue, but it’s a very poorly designed UI. I’m not sure, but if I remember correctly, before the update to Automation 2.0, this condition could be set by selecting the entire group at once. I was hoping that in the current version, maybe the UI was just poorly designed, and the logic remained unchanged.
