Aqara Hub M3 + M200 + W100 + T1 — AC via IR Blaster Status Not Updating & Automations Not Reliable

Is this setup correct?

Also, a setup the w100 as below. What do you think?

The temperature in WHEN is above zero so that it periodically (once every 10 minutes) polls the IF section. That’s how it should be.

This is a bad setting, it will eat up the battery. Set it to 5x5x0.2°C.

I changed it as below

25°C is too much, you need to make it more dynamic, near the air conditioner it can be more than 20°C, you will definitely notice that the air conditioner was turned off.

Attach T1 near the air conditioner vent and see how the temperature dynamics change when it is on and when it is off.

Maybe I need to give some information about the usage and the weather over here. I like to set the AC at 22/23 max and I am leaving in a very hot region. Temperature in winter is about 25 to 32 and summer is reach more than 45.

Do a simple study, as I said above, the main thing is what temperature T1 is when the air conditioner is on, this will be the indicator for the On air conditioner. And the Off air conditioner will be higher than what it was when On + 3°C. You can research this yourself.

If the Off automation “sees” that the air conditioner is On (temperature T1 is low), then it will clearly turn off the air conditioner.
