Hello,
I have 11 Apple border routers in my Thread network (Apple TV, HomePods etc.) the Thread network is super stable and works very fast.
As soon as I add the Aqara Hub M3 to the Apple Thread network, I have problems with the Thread network.
Devices show no response. Thread network goes down for a few minutes etc. I have already waited 24 hours to see if the Thread network calms down, unfortunately no success. As soon as I remove the Aqara Hub m3 everything works super stable again.
A function to deactivate thread and Zigbee would be great.
Because as it is now I can’t buy a new Aqara camera or doorbell because they also work as Thread Border Router.
I found myself having to re-add quite a bit of Matter devices after my M3 install. Both zigbee and Matter over thread. There’s something to the order that they are added, some devices needed to be reset/re-added and my speed of the system came back.
It was a little odd, but once all set back up with problematic devices being fixed, I was able to get my club husters in order and now it’s extremely fast. I have a 410 doorbell that is under the M3.

That doesn’t seem to work for me.
As soon as the m3 is active, the thread network no longer works.
With only HomePod and Apple TV it works super stable.
I hope there will soon be a function to deactivate Thread and Zigbee on all Aqara Hub devices.
