Hi all,
Just posting to see if anyone else is having difficulties with the new Ikea Kajplats bulbs connected to an Aqara hub via Matter? I have other Matter devices connected to my M3 that all work fine but find I have to keep resetting the Kajplats bulbs but unscrewing and screwing back in every few days to reconnect them to the M3.
I have many Aqara T2 bulbs, via Zigbee, they are so stable but needed exposed bulbs in 3 shades so purchased the Kajplats ones.
Any suggestions?

I also have issues with the latest Matter devices from IKEA ! Also need to bind them nearly every week
Not connected them to M3, but have to my Apple Home… and they’ve been just fine.
I did note that there is a firmware update to 1.2.0. Do you have that?
Nope, unfortunately it doesn’t showed up any update! Is that mainly available over Ikea?
I’m not sure, but I think you can’t update IKEA things with aqara hubs. homekit can, home assistant for sure.
Best I have is 1.1.0
Mines linked through the M3 and then into HomeAssistant…
The updates normally show up here and apply to the bulbs.
Well I have connected mine to Apple Home and because Apple have implemented the Matter OTA service, which Ikea also have, then it was available via Apple Home in my case.

It should just show up as needing an update. Mine did. BTW, I’m running 26.4 PB2

I was able to update all my IKEA staff just with iPhone home app, apple matter controller is not needed. thanks
