Aqara resync to HomeKit

How do I get the MS1 hub to resync with Apple HomeKit? I have accessories missing in HomeKit that I can see on the Aqara app.

@sewright396 To resync your M1S hub with Apple HomeKit when accessories are missing, follow these steps:

  1. Remove the Hub from HomeKit:

    • Open the Apple Home app.
    • Locate your M1S hub and press and hold its icon.
    • Select “Settings” and then “Remove Accessory” to remove the hub from HomeKit.
  2. Reset the Hub:

    • Follow the manufacturer’s instructions to reset your M1S hub to its factory settings. This usually involves pressing the button on the hub for more than 10 seconds until the yellow light flashes quickly.
  3. Re-add the Hub to HomeKit:

    • Open the Aqara Home app.
    • Add the hub again by selecting “Hub M1S Gen 2” and follow the instructions to complete the setup.
    • For iOS users, ensure to scan the HomeKit code or manually enter it during setup.
  4. Sync Accessories:

    • After the hub is added successfully, your accessories that are HomeKit compatible should automatically sync with Apple HomeKit.

If you continue to experience issues, please ensure that your Apple HomeHub (such as HomePod, Apple TV, or iPad) is working correctly and connected to the HomeKit network, as this can affect accessory visibility. Additionally, check that you’re not exceeding the HomeKit accessory limit of 100 devices. If problems persist, consider restarting your router to resolve any network issues.
