Hey friends, I recently switched from iOS to Android. Previously when I log into my Aqara in iPhone, all my door locks would be instantly connected.
However, after I switch, it now once againt take like 10 seconds to connect to my lock (like how it was before I had the hub). I do see my hub in my home screen though.
@muka84 It sounds like you’re experiencing a connection lag with your Aqara Smart Lock U100 after switching to Android—let’s troubleshoot this step by step! Since you can see the hub on your home screen, the basic binding might be intact, but there are a few checks that could help restore that instant connection:
First, ensure both your Aqara hub and U100 Door Lock have the latest firmware versions. Outdated firmware can sometimes cause communication delays between devices. You can check for updates in the Aqara Home app under each device’s settings.
Next, double-check the distance between your hub and the door lock. Even if the hub shows as online, a slightly longer distance might weaken the signal, leading to slower response times. Try moving the hub a bit closer to the lock and see if that improves the connection speed.
Also, confirm the Aqara Home app on your Android device is updated to the latest version. App updates often include optimizations for device communication, which could resolve lag issues.
If the problem persists after these steps, feel free to share more details (like your hub model or app version), and we can dig deeper!
