Hi everyone, I’ve been using the Aqara smart plug with the M3 bridge and the Aqara Home App for a while now, and it’s been a great addition to my smart home setup. However, I’ve noticed that when there’s a power outage and the electricity is restored, the plug doesn’t automatically turn back on. This has been a bit of a hassle, especially for devices that I want to stay on at all times, like my fish tank or my security camera.
I’ve been searching through the app settings and the Aqara documentation, but I can’t seem to find an option to set the plug to default to on after a power restore. I wonder if this is a feature that’s missing or if I’m just not looking in the right place. Has anyone else encountered this issue? If so, how did you resolve it? I’d really appreciate any advice or workarounds you might have.
On a positive note, I’ve been really impressed with the overall reliability and performance of the Aqara system. The integration with other smart devices has been seamless, and the app itself is user-friendly. It would just be great if this small tweak could be made to improve the user experience further.
Looking forward to hearing from you all!
