Are Aqara planning to bring more dynamic lighting effects for their bulbs? For example Phillips Hue and Nanoleaf have a vast amount available. In the Aqara app, there is only 4!
It’s a good question and you’re definitely not the only one hoping for more dynamic effects. According to a recent Aqara video, it looks like we’ll soon be able to control lights using the new AI features in the app. If that’s the case, it usually means more lighting effects are coming as well, since the AI will need a bigger toolbox to work with.
So I’d expect an update that expands the available effects in the near future. In the meantime, you can still create your own custom dynamic effects in the Aqara app if you want something closer to Hue or Nanoleaf.
