Aqara T2 bulbs not appearing in Google Home via Hub M3

I am currently using an Aqara Hub M3 with several devices connected: three T2 bulbs (2x Thread and 1x Zigbee), Aqara Roller Shade Driver E1 units, and a G4 Doorbell.

The entire system is integrated with Google Home for voice control, which is my preferred way of managing my smart home. However, I’m encountering an issue: while the doorbell and roller shades are visible and work perfectly via voice and the app, the T2 bulbs are completely missing from Google Home.

Do I need a dedicated Google hub (like a Nest Hub or Nest Mini) acting as a Matter controller to see these bulbs, or should the M3 Hub be able to pass them through to Google Home on its own?

Hello, welcome to the forum. You can’t see these lamps because you used devices that are not of global purpose. I also can’t see T1 lamps that are intended for the Chinese region. I also can’t see switches that are from the Chinese region.

Thanks for your answer. Is there a way to check which market a light bulb was manufactured for? Am I able to verify if I have been cheated?

The packaging of the lamps should be for the European market. Look for a picture of it on the net.

Hey , I don’t use Google Home… but also thought that T2 bulbs should work with google

If you want to use the M3 as a Matter bridge, you’ll need another Matter controller like a Google Mini to connect it to the Google ecosystem. Here’s a list of devices that work.

Please note that you’ll also need IPv6 to be enabled on your network for this work.
