Yo guys! Just wanna share how I turned my apartment into a chill paradise this summer with Aqara temp sensors and AC automation. No more waking up sweaty or wasting energy!

Here’s my setup:

  • Placed an Aqara temp sensor near my bed (crucial spot!)
  • Paired it with my dumb AC using Aqara’s smart plug
  • Set automation: When bedroom hits 28°C → AC turns on at 26°C
  • Added bonus: Auto-off when temp drops below 24°C

Pro tip: Place sensors away from direct AC airflow for accurate readings. Mine was giving false readings until I moved it behind my nightstand.
