It’s still supportive, 3rd gen. But it’s been out for a decade. It’s tough to comment too much about Google’s hardware. I still have a few google assistant mini at home and the look like e-trash nowadays. Also the complicated google cloud settings for the home assistant integraton.

Anyway, that counts 50% excueses why I want to jump to the W200. And really expect to see the interaction with my W100s on hand.

I am very ready to be done with Google and that Nest thermostat. I’ve been waiting for a good matter-compatible one to hit the market. This so looks like exactly what I’ve been hoping for.

Is this version capable of line-voltage (240v) for baseboard heaters? When is that version being released?

USA! Already have a U100 and love it.

Super stoked about this launch! Love my Aqara devices. In TX and ready to test one out !!

For me, it’s getting away from as many Google services as possible. Plus, the silly thing keeps randomly setting itself way warmer or colder than I keep it. That happens enough that I’ve been literally setting the schedule in the Google Home app to set the temp to my desired level as often as it will let me…something like every 20 minutes. At this point, it’s less of a ‘smart’ thermostat and more of an annoying piece of garbage that never does what it did when I first bought it.

Currently using the Ecobee thermostat, but would love to have this in my Aqara ecosystem instead. Already own a w100 sensor.

USA, ready to test!

Would love to test, but missing the extra wire for power. Will there be a battery powered option in the future?

In Iowa and ready to test!

Excellent. real life trials are the way to produce a reputable product.
I am in Canada in a cold climate in the winter and very warm in the summer. Both extremes, sometime in the same week. What a great trial location?

This looks interesting. I’ve been looking to dump all my nest thermostats (5 across 2 sites) for a while now but haven’t been happy with the options. I really hope the Thermostat Hub W200 works out.

Hi from USA, ready to test!

Will this work on High Voltage AC Systems? That was always my problem with the Google Nest products

Will it work with accessories similarly to Ecobee? My setup is compatible but I also have my thermostat to control a central dehumidifier, wondering if that will also be possible with the W200.
