Aqara Thermostat W600 and Eve Thermo in Aqara Home

Hi, I’m currently using the W600 in my home, but I also have two old EVE Thermostats that are still working perfectly. I wanted to add them to Aqara Home.

EVE Home is a European brand, I’m not sur it’s worldwide availability.

Adding the EVE Thermostats to Aqara Home was straightforward. Since they’re Matter devices, I went to HomeKit, selected the device, clicked on its properties, and chose the « Starting Pairing mode. »

The device was successfully added to Aqara Home without any issues. I then changed the icon on the card, nicely the name didn’t need to be changed since it matched the one in HomeKit.

Now, I can use the EVE Thermostats in my automation system along with the W600!

However, since I’m using the W600 in the Matter standard, I don’t have access to more detailed information like in Zigbee mode. The EVE Thermostats compared to the W600 (Matter) provide the same level of information.

The EVE Thermostats provide me with the current temperature, the target temperature (for heating), and the capability to activate or deactivate the thermostat.

Even the batterie level is listed in the battery tab in the Home App :

The only drawback is that I can’t group the Thermostat together. This is a suggestion for the Aqara Home team ;-).

I hope this helps.

Which eve device exactly? The TRVs for the radiator, or the controller (Eve Thermo Control | evehome.com)

I don’t have the Controller, only two TRV.
